The German authorities are giving Kiev another package of military aid, which includes two Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, one IRIS-T SLS short-range SAM, one IRIS-T SLM medium-range SAM, two GEPARD self-propelled air defence systems and 65,000 shells.
As Report reports with reference to Interfax, this was reported in the Defence Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The aid package includes 15 Leopard 1 A5 tanks, 30 armoured vehicles with reinforced mine protection MRAP, shells for Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks. In addition, there are two TRML-4D radars and AIM-9L/I-1 Sidewinde air-to-air missiles; 52,000 155mm shells and one PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery unit.
The package includes the transfer of 30 VECTOR and 24 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones, 14 HORNET XR UAVs, and 45 underwater tugboats. Berlin will send Kiev explosives for obstacle clearance and five remotely operated mine clearance systems, seven Caracal vehicles, five AMPS helicopter protection systems.
