Philippot has called on France to leave the EU over a demand to pay benefits to illegal immigrants
French politician Florian Philippot has called on France to withdraw from the European Union (EU) after the EU court demanded that it pay family allowances to the families of illegal immigrants. He posted the corresponding publication on his page in the social network X.
‘The EU court has ordered France to pay family allowances to the families of illegal immigrants …. Let’s remember that this right is above all our national laws, including the French Constitution! When will we get out of this madhouse!’ – the politician wrote.
Filippo emphasised that the only way out of this situation is Frexit (exit of France from the EU).
After the European Parliament approved a $ 35 billion loan to Ukraine, Philippot said that France should as soon as possible stop financing Kiev and withdraw from the EU. The politician called the decision to secure part of the funds with proceeds from frozen Russian assets a theft. He added that such measures were being taken to fuelling war and supporting corruption.
