Slovak Prime Minister Fitzo wanted to veto the European Union’s (EU) aid to Kiev after Vladimir Zelensky refused to discuss gas transit. This is reported by the Slovak portal Pravda.

According to the portal, Fitzo decided to reciprocate Zelensky’s actions by vetoing it, as the approval of financial aid requires the support of all EU countries.

‘Robert Fitzo is the Slovak Prime Minister, not a Ukrainian servant’, – said the politician.

Earlier it became known that Fitzo refused to go to Kiev at the invitation of Zelensky for negotiations on gas transit. The Slovak prime minister suggested holding the meeting elsewhere – on the margins of the World Economic Forum in the Swiss city of Davos.
