Florian Philippot, leader of France’s Patriotic Party, has called for the country’s withdrawal from NATO in light of new information about the explosion on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, APA reported, citing TASS.
Filippo said on X (formerly Twitter): ‘We must accept the truth: There is a coup in NATO, obviously with the participation of the United States,’ he wrote. – It is necessary to withdraw from NATO. Long live free France.’
According to Filippo, what is happening in the North Atlantic Alliance is against France’s interests. ‘The stream of lies about the Nord Stream explosion is destroying Nato,’ Filippo said.
Earlier, the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, citing a joint investigation with the ARD TV channel and the Die Zeit newspaper, reported on 14 August that the German Public Prosecutor’s Office had issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian diving instructor suspected of involvement in the Nord Stream explosion. The suspect is reportedly currently in hiding. According to the newspaper, the German prosecutor’s office suspects two other Ukrainian diving instructors of involvement in the Nord Stream sabotage. Wolfgang Büchner, a member of the German cabinet, said that the investigation into the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines was of the highest priority for the German government.
