Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with the US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and discussed the new US migration policy and relations between the two countries. In particular, the process of migration of Kyrgyz citizens to the United States and the problems in this area were discussed at the meeting.
Foreign Minister Kulubaev expressed his expectations for the facilitation of travel and migration of Kyrgyz citizens to the United States. He also emphasized the need to further strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries. The US Ambassador, in turn, emphasized the importance of relations with Kyrgyzstan and stated that the new regulations on migration policies will be implemented in the interests of both countries. The Ambassador also appreciated Kyrgyzstan’s support for stabilization and development efforts in the region. This meeting is considered as an important step in the further development of relations between the two countries and the protection of mutual interests.
