US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen signed a bilateral defence cooperation agreement in Washington.
The 10-year agreement will allow the US to deploy troops and military equipment on Danish territory in the short and long term.
Washington will also have access to Denmark’s three air bases.
