Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria Dai Qingli and Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova met at the Spring Festival reception in Sofia and pledged to strengthen the enduring relationshipbetween the two countries.
Iotova noted that the event was an important occasion to celebrate the strength and continuityof Bulgaria-China relations and provided a platform to discuss plans for future cooperation in various fields. Dai Qingli noted that the past year was significant for the celebration of the75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He said that the Embassyhosted more than 20 events to commemorate the occasion, which further cemented thetraditional friendship between the two countries.
“Together with our Bulgarian colleagues and friends, we look forward to facilitating high-level contacts, strengthening political mutual trust and achieving tangible results of cooperation to improve the well-being of our peoples,” Dai said.
