He also expressed the hope that Ukraine will continue to ensure the safety of Chinese institutions and citizens within its borders. On the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, Wang reiterated China’s firm stance on promoting peace and dialogue. He emphasized the principles put forward by President Xi Jinping, which have proven to be objective, impartial and pragmatic in guiding the resolution process. China will adhere to these principles and continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis and peace, Wang said. He added that China supports all efforts focused on peace and advocates for a just, lasting and binding peace agreement accepted by all parties.
