A number of new investment projects with the participation of Chinese companies are planned to be implemented in the cities of Nurafshan and Angren in Uzbekistan, the Tashkent region khokimiyat said, Trend reports.
According to the information, a delegation of local authorities of Nurafshan held talks with the management of Extol Global Capital Pte. Ltd and other investors from Zhejiang Province. As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on joint implementation of projects totalling $106 million.
It is also reported that in Nurafshan it is planned to create a cluster of building materials with an investment volume of $12.5 million, the construction of a plant for the production of cosmetic products, as well as the construction of a residential complex, hotel and restaurant in the business district Nurafshon Business City. Realisation of these initiatives will create more than 2 thousand new jobs.
Implementation of production projects with the participation of Chinese capital is also planned in the free economic zone of Angren. Hokim of the city Alisher Raimov held talks with investors from Hunan, Anhui, Shandong and Guangdong provinces. As a result of the meetings, memorandums of co-operation were signed with Anhui Jinpeng Energy Saving Technology, Infy Power and Xintay.
