The European Union has no evidence of arms deliveries from China to Russia.
This was stated by Josep Borrel, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue forum in Singapore, the Report reported, citing TASS.
‘China has pledged not to supply weapons [to Russia] and we have no evidence that this has happened,’ Borrel said, responding to questions from the participants of the event. Borrell added that: ‘But there is no clear line between weapons and non-weapons, because there are things that can have a dual purpose.’
At the same time, he claimed that Russian military equipment uses parts manufactured in Western countries (the US, Europe or the UK). ‘The problem is not only in China,’ Borrel said.
