Special Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss issues of mutual cooperation in the Caspian Sea. During the talks between the two countries, areas of joint work and potential projects in the region were discussed.
During the meeting, issues such as transportation, trade, security and environmental protection, as well as the use of energy resources were discussed. The sides emphasized the importance of cooperation for the stability and sustainable development of the Caspian Sea. Azerbaijan and Russia agreed to continue similar contacts in the future. The dialogue between the two countries will continue to strengthen regional cooperation.
