Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of cybersecurity, Trend reported on Thursday.
According to a statement from the Electronic Security Service (ESS) of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the memorandum was signed during a working visit to Kazakhstan
The document envisages joint activities in the field of information security and cyber security, as well as the exchange of data and experience between the parties.
It should be noted that ESS continues to work on establishing cooperation with CERT and similar organizations of other countries in accordance with the “Information Security and Cybersecurity Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan 2023-2027” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 28, 2023.
