Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a telephone conversation and discussed regional issues and opportunities for bilateral cooperation. During the conversation, steps to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and ensure regional stability were discussed.
Minister Bayramov emphasized the positive trend of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia and stressed the importance of implementing new projects, especially in the fields of energy, transport and trade. He also emphasized the need to continue joint efforts to ensure peace and security in the region. Georgian Foreign Minister Botchorishvili expressed his satisfaction with the development of friendly relations between the two countries. Emphasizing the importance of dialogue and cooperation in solving regional problems, Botchorishvili stated that Georgia will continue to strengthen its relations with its neighbors. Cooperation in international organizations and regional security issues were also discussed during the meeting. The two ministers agreed to increase future contacts and joint initiatives.
