Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia to hold a Trilateral Meeting

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia will hold a trilateral meeting to strengthen regional cooperation and discuss joint projects. The meeting will be held with the aim of further developing strategic relations between the three countries.

During the meeting, cooperation projects in the fields of energy, transportation and trade will be discussed. Steps to enhance regional stability and security will also be discussed. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister noted that the meeting is of great importance for strengthening friendly relations between the three countries. The Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized the need for the three countries to work together for regional development and prosperity. The Georgian Foreign Minister said that such meetings would further advance regional cooperation.

“We both supported the format of trilateral cooperation between Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. We agreed to hold a meeting in the trilateral format in the near future. Turkey will play the role of host because of our interest in regional cooperation,” Bochorishvili said, adding that the meeting will take place in Turkey in the coming days. The trilateral meeting is expected to reinforce the existing cooperation between the three countries and pave the way for the realization of new projects.
