Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin Erol, President of the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM), made evaluations to TRT World regarding France’s role in the Karabakh War. “This is a reflection of France’s colonial ambitions and its fear of losing its ‘sphere of influence’ in the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa,” Erol said. According to Erol, France’s ideal of ‘Greater France’ lies at the heart of these events.
