New US Foreign Representative Holds “Quad” Talks with Japan, Australia and India

The newly appointed top US diplomat met with Japan, Australia and India at the “Quad” (Quad Security Dialogue) meeting. It was stated that the meeting aims to increase strategic cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. During the meeting led by the US Deputy Secretary of State, issues such as China’s growing regional influence, maritime security and economic cooperation were discussed.
