From January to September this year, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with Lithuania totalled $492.9 million.
According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, it is 3.5 per cent less compared to the same period last year ($510.6 million from January to September 2023), Trend reports.
Lithuania became one of the 15 largest trading partners of Uzbekistan over the period.
Exports from Uzbekistan to Lithuania totalled $151.4 million, up 53.3 per cent year-on-year ($98.7 million in January-September 2023).
Imports from Lithuania to Uzbekistan reached $341.4 million from January to September 2024. This figure decreased by 17.1 per cent compared to the same period last year ($411.9 million in January-September 2023).
It should be noted that the volume of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover totalled $48.2 billion in the period from January to September 2024. This indicator increased by 7.7 per cent year-on-year ($44.7 billion in January-September 2023).
