Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a working visit to Saudi Arabia on 11 November, Trend reported on Saturday.
‘Within the framework of his visit, the head of state will take part in the extraordinary Islamic Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, during which it is planned to discuss the current situation in Palestine and southern Lebanon, as well as in the Middle East region as a whole,’ said Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the foreign policy department of the Presidential Administration.
Zhaparov is scheduled to speak at the summit, as well as a number of bilateral meetings with the Saudi side.
It should be noted that according to the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia in January-August totalled $2.381 million, which is 10 times higher than in 2023 ($219,356)
