Turkmenistan and China have held consultations on cyber security with the participation of representatives of relevant agencies of the countries.
The discussions were held in Ashgabat, Trend reported on Tuesday, citing Turkmenistan’s Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of joint work and implementation of previously reached agreements in the field of international information security.
The participants also exchanged views on strengthening international cyber security, paying special attention to the current challenges and prospects for cooperation in this area. As a result of the consultations, it was decided to continue exchanging experience to improve the level of protection of information systems.
The sides reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening co-operation in the field of cyber security and expressed readiness to implement new initiatives to enhance international information security.
