According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the talks they discussed the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation. Particular attention was paid to US participation in geological exploration and the creation of supply chains of critical minerals, as well as interaction in sectors such as IT, agro-industry, finance and energy.
‘The U.S. House of Representatives is our key partner in maintaining an ongoing dialogue between the government of Kazakhstan and U.S. businesses,’ Alibek Kuantyrov recalled.
The US delegation, which included representatives of major companies, visited Kazakhstan after a working visit to New York by the republic’s Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu. Kuantyrov invited them to the implementation of joint investment projects and participation in the round table on global investment, which will be held in November in Astana.
