Kazakhstan and the Netherlands signed 9 trade agreements

Kazakhstan and the Netherlands signed nine trade agreements in Astana aimed at developing bilateral relations in various sectors, including the agro-industrial complex, healthcare, ecology, transport and logistics, Trend reports.

The signing ceremony was held with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan and JSC “NC “KAZAKH INVEST”.

One of the signed agreements is a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Dutch company “VISCON” on the implementation of the project for the construction of an automated centre for the production of planting material using artificial intelligence. This project will contribute to increasing the sustainability, quality and yield of cultivated plants, as well as ensuring food security. The production at the Centre is planned to be carried out using artificial intelligence technologies and in vitro cultivation methods. The project is planned to be implemented between 2024-2026 and produce 12 million seedlings per year.

In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan signed a document on the improvement of the veterinary system in Kazakhstan with the company “Royal GD”.
