Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan discussed the possibilities of joint activities in the energy sector.
This issue was discussed at a meeting between Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov and Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, Trend reported on Wednesday.
The sides also discussed issues of bilateral economic partnership between the two countries, including exploring new opportunities for expanding business-to-business cooperation and implementing a roadmap for expanding economic, trade and investment cooperation.
It is worth noting that according to the Uzbek statistical agency, the volume of trade between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in January-March 2024 amounted to $ 142 million.
