On April 29 in Bishkek, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Manas Zhakypov met with Ronald Zhindra, Program Director of the Macroeconomic Support Department of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and representatives of the Embassy of Switzerland in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports from the National Bank.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation, trends in the development of the financial sector and the implementation of joint projects within the framework of technical cooperation were discussed.
Zhakypov expressed the hope for further cooperation with SECO and active participation in the implementation of projects for the development of the financial sector in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the development of financial market infrastructure, the introduction of the digital som and the improvement of tools for the supervision of financial and credit institutions.
Based on the results of the meeting, the Swiss side expressed readiness for further cooperation with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
