Hungary does not want to re-elect European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen for another term because her decisions have led to a further deterioration of the security situation in Europe.
This statement was made by Peter Szijjarto, head of the Hungarian Ministry of the Interior, the Report reported, citing the local newspaper Origo.
Szijjarto expressed the hope that von der Leyen would not make statements and decisions that would worsen the situation in Europe shortly before the end of her term.
“Both in terms of the economy and security,” said the head of the ministry.
