President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a working visit to Russia on 20-21 February at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The visit was announced by Muratbek Azymbakiyev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, the Report reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
Mr Putin will attend the opening ceremony of the international multi-sport tournament “Games of the Future” in Kazan.
“Within the framework of the event, bilateral meetings will be held between Mr Sadyr Japarov and Mr Vladimir Putin and President of Tatarstan Mr Rustam Minnikhanov. The sides will discuss topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, including in the trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and investment spheres,” the press service said.
